Discloser:
In 2020, we discovered a manufacturer defect in that they drilled a hole for the base support of the awning on the outside of the camper and then re-drilled the hole to move it to a different spot but left the original hole open (uncaulked) and it was hidden by a bracket. By the time we noticed it, 5 years had passed and water started coming in and warping the base of the wall near the floor. Owner removed all the wet insulation and re-insulated and patched the wall (see picture) We have had no problems since. Gulfstream would not fix it since it was greater than 1 year by the time it was apparent problem and not covered under warranty.
