1989 Beaver Marquis 40' Class A Motorhome. CAT Diesel Pusher, Awning, Sleeps 2, Dual A/C Units.
We purchased our motorhome in 1990, just a few months after the original owner drove it from Oregon to Tennessee. From his widow.
We have taken care to service it regularly and a few years ago completely remodeled and refurbished the interior. Then, we had a premium paint job done. After, 30 years and 202,335 miles, it runs great. The generator is also maintained and works whenever called upon.
White it has mainly stayed in N. California since 2014, it has been home for us. It is for a couple who appreciate quality. It is road worthy, except for tires and windshield wipers. The 150 gallon tank is full and ready to go. The generator functions flawlessly and is serviced.
Just now, it is in Hiouchi, California, sitting between our two other RVs. One has been re-purposed as a gym. The other is a dedicated panty and kitchen. Both are for sale...
Yes, it is a 1989. It was built when RVs were well constructed with solid wood...made to last. Many custom items are present. All furnishings shown in the pictures and some that are not pictured stay.
We are liquidating and fulfilling a dream. We are going to live and travel abroad for the next few years.
We are motivated to sell and start our new adventure overseas...
What is different about the motorhome:
The large awning finally out lived tis usefulness a couple of years ago during a windstorm. No other damage was done. By then we had decided to call Hiouchi home. Thus, we replaced it with a semi-permanent awning that is shown in the pictures. All other awnings are intact and in decent condition.
Just now the passenger seat has been put on skids to be used as a recliner/arm chair. It is plugged in and fully functional.
The gas heating unit went out and gave us a scare. Thus, we had it removed by a professional. We spent 12 winters in Carson City snowboarding Tahoe. Winters there can be brutal. We kept toasty warm with the oil filled radiator heater and a small forced fan heater. This saved on propane and worked fine. Besides when traveling, why use your propane when electric is included in your rental.
Hiouchi: Next to the Redwood National Park. Just now, the motor home is sitting on one spot (the best site we've ever experienced) with the Jayco (re-purposed as a gym, laundry, and tool hanger) in front on the same site. The utilities are all function for both. If, you are looking for a coastal quiet 2nd home, this could be the answer.
No reasonable offer refused.
This unit is priced to sell as is.
