1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. Inline Gasoline 6-Cylinder Engine. 4-Speed Automatic.
1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Standard Steel Saloon. Same owner for 20 years. Right-hand drive. Well maintained. Its reliable enough to be driven everyday. Originally ordered by British Army Colonel J.H. Donnie from H.A. Fox in London. Featured in the 2013 Spike Lee movie "Da Sweet Blood of Jesus"; Google that to see the trailer! This is an "early" '56 meaning no power steering, no power brakes, no AC, no power anything basically. In-line 6-cylinder engine. I have most of the original tools. I have the original owners manual, a RR shop manual, other original ephemera, and a custom cover. Various leather and carpet pieces have been replaced over time. The wood has been well maintained. Needs the parcel shelf remade. Just had lower half of car painted. Anytime it's needed service it got serviced. Brakes in particular have been beautifully maintained by Allston Custom Garage in Waltham MA. However, it has one head bolt that has snapped off, the one nearest the distributor. It dribbled coolant from this spot until I did the Blue Devil 2-part head gasket sealer treatment recommended by my mechanic and that certainly stopped the leak but this remains a concern. Otherwise the car is in pretty good shape.
Adult owned and driven. If you can come see for yourself, I'm sure you'll agree that you won't find another one in this condition for the price I'm asking. Garage kept.
